michigan central used to be the grand central station of detroit: bustling, beautiful, and a symbol of something bigger than the city itself – the future. but in the 80s it closed, and fell into deep disrepair. then in 2018 ford bought it with plans to revamp it. they came to us when it was ready to re-open, and we made an anthem for the city. because detroit’s not back...it never left. this ran on network and social and played at the event. people stood up and hooped and hollered and clapped! cool. it feels good making a car brand feel human. for the opening we also made posters and t-shirts. no pics of the shirts to share (sorry) but someone on the team *did* see someone wearing one in the airport on the way back from detroit, which is cooler! <img width="1068" height="1132" He may be behind the James Beard nominated @BlackFoodFridays TikTok and Instagram accounts, but what drives him goes much deeper than what you can find on the internet. Jade spends the day with him in Charleston and Savannah, and chats with him to find out how (and why) he’s making sense of social in this day and age. episode 2.5: The Red Rice Day Proclamation episode 3: the renaissance of ancient grainsIn our next stops on this road trip, we go straight to the heart of the Lowcountry to learn about two ancient and storied grains making big waves today: fonio and Carolina Gold rice. (most people are neutral, but we’re not talking about those people!)this is the insight we used to guide our campaign for heinz’ category-busting, first-of-its-kind condiment innovation – some will react to its wrong-ness, some will react to its right-ness, but everyone will have a reaction. heinz dip&amp;crunch. so wrong, it’s right. <img width="903px;" height="508px;" country. we get into their founding stories, what drives them, their best recipes, the history and lore surrounding them and more. it’s funny. it’s heartfelt. it’s educational in a sneaky way. it’s Things didn’t start with the podcast. The Black Kitchen Series dropped out of a larger Heinz project - The Black Kitchen Initiative, which was formed in the wake of the 2020 uprisings against racism and the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic. The podcast came about as a way to give their stories a platform, and celebrate the vibrance they add to modern Black cuisine.&nbsp; And then!
